At the beach

We spent some time at the beach over the weekend.  On Friday when Em finished work, we headed down to the seafront and had chips for our dinner down there. It was lovely and warm when we first arrived and the kids soon stripped off for a paddle in the sea, though it quickly clouded over and the tights went back on!

I really love this bit of beach, its pretty stony (like all the beaches around here) but so quiet - especially at that time of day! I would love to live in one of the houses there that back on to the beach. How lovely to be that close and just look out of the window to the sea everyday.

    1. She does like a tutu! She's got to an age now where she likes to choose what she wears herself - tutu's usually win. xx

  6. Great photos, even with the grey sky it looks lovely. I miss the sea! And I love pebbly beaches, they remind me of Hayling Island and childhood memories. I love your plan of chips for tea on the beach. I think the hot weather makes us all more spontaneous. x

    1. Thank you. I still have not been to Hayling island yet, must try and get down there some time. I kind of miss some sand - I come from I.O.W so pretty spoilt for sandy beaches there! Yes I think they taste even better out of the wrapper on the beach. xx
