A bit cold and wet today for a beach walk really, but it felt good to get out after a bit of a home week. We need to go shopping for hats and gloves now the weather is getting colder, though Archie was more than happy to wear Elizabeth's purple owl hat! I think this has to be the biggest piece of beach wood Archie has ever found, he wasn't keen to leave it there either!

Elizabeth has an inset day today so its the start of half term for us. I'm looking forward to some pj mornings, more autumn walks and some pumpkin carving. Hope you all have a great weekend. x

    That looks like such good fun - my girls have broken up today too and I wish I wasn't pulling my hair out with them to do something similar with them. I'm madly trying to pack for Hampshire and entertain them all at once - it's not going well today....at all.

    I love the beach in the colder weather ... we are a bit of a journey away from our nearest but we love to head out on a Sunday with a picnic for the car and all wrapped up to go walking on the beach ... the sea air is great ... off tomorrow to stock up on new hats, gloves and scarves ... I can't believe how cold it has gotten all of a sudden ... Bee xx

      It really has got cold all of a sudden. Yes we still love the beach in the colder weather, deffinately need gloves next time though! xx

    Great hats! I think Archie looks too cute for words in the owl hat, and I would quite like a hat like the one Elizabeth is wearing for myself. There is nothing like the beach in cold weather...oh, I do miss the sea! Have a happy half term. x

      Thanks Gillian, he was really pleased with that owl hat. Yes Elizabeths is sweet too, I need to find one for myself but it's never as easy as buying for the kids! xx
