I haven't been using my big camera as much lately and have been a bit lazy with taking it out and about with me. Ever since I got a decent camera phone I have been using that quite a bit instead, I really must try and get into the habit of using it more again! Anyhow these are some I have actually taken lately, on adventures with the boy to the local parks and the beach - a couple of beautiful sunny days and a cloudy wet one too!

DeleteAnd and you do THAT with a phone!......there's no hope for me! :) x
ReplyDeleteHa no these were actually with my camera - a couple of occasions I did remember to take it with me! I don't feel as though Ive had so many photos to share on my blog lately. xx
DeleteFantastic - looked like a great time was had by all x
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteI am so in awe of your photos and wish I could be as good as you at taking pictures! You can see those were taken with a proper camera and an excellent lens, your close ups are amazing!
ReplyDeleteAw thank you so much, its a pretty basic model but fine for me - Im not great with the technical stuff! I would love a different lens one day to be able to take better close ups. xx
DeleteGorgeous blossom but my favourite is your boy at the top Gorgeous blossom but my favourite is your boy at the top of the slide in black & white, looks so cheeky and full of adventure. I have been using my camera phone more and more recently too, not even an I phone but I love what it can do. Also I am a bit fed up carrying my. Huge camera around. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes they're pretty good really and so easy to make them look better with a filter on there! Its nice to just grab my little bag too, instead of my bigger camera bag. xx
DeleteLovely, lovely of the kiddos and that carpet of daisies! Just perfect pics, Jo xx
ReplyDeleteAw thank you Jo xx
DeleteBeautiful. I am guilty of the same at the moment too. SO much easier (and lighter!) to use the phone camera x
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes its soo much easier than carrying my big one around and great for Instagram - though not so great for having any decent pics to share on here! xx
DeleteLove your photos. So bright and cheerful! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea. xx
DeleteOh my Caroline, I have just discovered your blog and its beautiful! I love the daisy picture and all the flowers are so uplifting :) you must defiantly remember to take you camera out and about with you, these photos are wonderful! And your little boy is very cute :) I'm going to do some back reading now and catch up with it all, safxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Saffa, lovely to have you here. xx
DeleteYour photos are brilliant - love the one of the dandelion head with raindrops. Do you use Photoshop at all? On my Photography Course the lesson last week and tomorrow are about it and I thought if you did whether you could say whether it is easy to use once you get the hang of it as I'm loathe to spend money on something that's not going to be used.
ReplyDeleteJune
Thanks June. No I have never used Photoshop before, except for a few lessons when I was back at college and I must say I didn't really get it! Its something I would like to have another go at though. If I do need to edit a photo at all, like lighten or straighten I use Pixlr which is free and really simple to use. xx
DeleteLovely happy photos Caroline ... the light is just beautiful ... the cow parsley close up is my favourite ... have a lovely week ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Bee, you have a lovely week too. xx

Oh I love these photos... such great colours and details. Your little boy is so cute too! I'm the same, I'm often too lazy to take my proper camera with me, but when I do I'm much happier with the results x
