Not long until Halloween now! The kids have both chosen their costumes this week - a pirate dress for Elizabeth and a vampire outfit for Archie. They are going to a party on Thursday and are soo excited. Its the first year they have really taken much interest, Elizabeth has literally been counting down the days!
We decorated our pumpkins this week too. I let the kids paint them this year - I figured that way they could actually have some part in decorating them instead of just watching me carve them out! Elizabeth has even made everyone Happy Halloween cards this year and has just told me she will also be expecting a nice drawn card too - I'd better get the crayons out then!
Oh I am so behind with Halloween prep! We are away staying with family right now and I must buy a pumpkin before there are none left. Great treasury, very inspiring. I hope your two have a wonderful time and make lots of happy memories. xx

ReplyDeleteI love so many of these, but especially the black cat print. The costumes are ready here; I have a spider and a mouse. I bought a pumpkin yesterday and I was just in time because there were very few left. We still need to carve it, though.
ReplyDeletePainted pumpkins are a great idea for little kids, aren't they? Although I am really tempted by all the drilled ones I've seen on Pinterest. Might have to buy my own for me to drill ;)
