Our collected treasures from the last month... Blue plastic beach finds (three lost at sea flippers now) leaves (yes, took me aaages!) seed pods, driftwood, grey beach finds, cherry blossom, feathers, more plastic from the beach, pink beach finds, driftwood, pebbles, plastic greenery and chalk stones with holes.

I think plastic has become my favourite thing to find lately. I just love all the random little bits and bobs we discover. Some of it looks so vintage and old. I'd love to know were it all originally came from. I feel like we're helping to keep the beach cleaner too, holding on to the more interesting things whilst throwing away the rubbishy bits.

The Cherry blossom is picked from the garden. I love this time of year, when everything comes to life and flowers appear. I'm looking forward to creating more pictures over the Summer, with blooms we've grown or foraged. I must get a move on in the garden, I always leave everything so late. We did plant some veggies on the weekend, though the birds have completely pulled out all the peas - argh! I'm hoping to get out there and tackle it this weekend. Maybe a car boot sale too, if the weather cheers up... I do love car boot sale season!

Happy May! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. xx

  1. Beautifully done as always, especially those leaves - wow. I'm imagining if I tried to do that, someone would slam a door and the whole lot would blow up in the air. I love the driftwood chunks as well, they're gorgeous. Wishing you a good weekend Caroline. CJ xx

  3. Gosh, Caroline, I'd love to be inside your head for a little while, what an amazing creative brain you have! The leave one is WOW, I love how you place things, how you find the pattern in these ordinary objects. You make the ordinary, interesting :) xxx

  6. OMG your pictures and arrangements are GORGEOUS!! So inspiring. I love all your finds and can't believe how much you retrieve. I like your little plastic bits too although I do find it a sad idea that on Bear Grylls The Island the debris of plastic literally clogs the shore line. I do like your finds though! Take care, J9 x
